Although the exterior is scary, this bird, known as Dracula, is not a blood-sucking bird. His scientific name is Psittrichas fulgidus. The bird is said to be the only member of the genus.

Dracula parrot is quite large. The neck is covered with black and gray feathers, like a short coat surrounded by a dark red body. The feathers on the head fall off, and eyes shining like beads. The curved beak with its small round head protrudes like that of a vulture that preys on animals. however, These nomadic parrots are accustomed to a special diet. It feeds on organisms, insects, pests, etc., as well as nectar and flowers.

Unlike other birds, Dracula parrots do not walk on branches. Just jumping from branch to branch. Female and male Dracula parrots differ slightly. There is a red spot behind the male bird’s eyes. The female lays her eggs twice at a time in nests in the large nests of trees. However, These are often in pairs or groups. There are about 20 parrots in each group.
