Today we are going to talk about a lovely 25-year-old mare. Every day in Frankfurt, Germany, this majestic white Arabian horse walks. She travels alone, with no guards or jockeys. She knows exactly where she is heading. Jenny’s loving owner rode her like this. Sadly, he died in 2003.
Even after his death, the gentle horse goes for a morning walk around town. She couldn’t walk before. Warner Weischedel’s horse-drawn convoy included her. Warner died at age 82. Jenny’s pal Charlie, a black mare, died of old age. So Weischedel’s wife decided to walk the horse like the owner rode it.

Jenny was originally accompanied on her morning walks.

She understood the mare could handle it alone. Jenny has been let out of the stall daily and goes calmly through the city. She is retracing her steps.

She knows her way around like any other local pedestrian. Although she appears lonely, she is not.
Jenny and the locals are safe because Weischeal’s wife works with the Frankfurt police. For the past 15 years, there have been no incidents in Whitehorse.

Jenny is a star among the locals. They can’t wait to meet the stallion. Some folks stop to pet her. They even care for her and tidy up. Only in Frankfurt, she now makes people grin all over the world.
