STRAY DOG KEEPS SNEAKING IN TO STORE TO STEAL STUFFED UNICORN, SO OFFICER BUYS IT FOR HIM

The plush unicorn toy that a stray dog in North Carolina tried to steal from a Dollar General store more than once has been given to him. Mary Shannon Johnstone gets the credit Duplin County Animal Services says that a stray dog named Sisu tried to steal a stuffed unicorn from inside the store more than once. Joe Newburn, a supervisor at Duplin County Animal Services, said, “He always went right for the unicorn.”

The officer who came to the Dollar General store because of the call. Samantha Lane was so impressed by how much the dog loved the unicorn. Then she bought the $10 toy for the dog. Newburn says that once Lane had his unicorn, the dog was happy to go with him. Animal Services of Duplin County “The only thing we can think is that he came from a home where he or other children had a similar stuffed animal,” Newburn said. Sisu is considered a stray at the shelter because no one has come to claim him. He can be adopted right now, and people say he is a 1-year-old boy who is very good with people.
