Pamela Underhill Karaz took pictures of an amazing animal moment two years ago, and now those pictures are going viral. A coyote showed up in the driveway of the photographer’s 48-acre farm in rural New York. People often see coyotes in the area. A coyote saw something on the ground. It was a stuffed toy that belonged to one of the dogs of the photographer. The coyote walked up to the thing and sniffed it.

The coyote then took the toy and started playing with it. The coyote played with the toy for five to ten minutes, tossing it in the air and into the snow. The coyote then ran away with its catch. A series of pictures called “The Toy Thief” show what happened. After Mother Nature Network did a story on the photographer, his Facebook page got much attention.
