What’s cuter than a koala? A sleeping koala! A koala’s guardian gives her a (well-deserved) face massage in a beautiful video. The carer’s hands are too gentle for this fluffy ball. She falls asleep instantly.
According to the Australian Reptile Park’s film, the lovely koala is treated like a princess. Her handler gives her a special treatment almost every day, including belly rubs and cheek massages. Needless to say, the spoilt koala, Elsa, loves it. She likes it so much she can’t sleep. But who can stand such a cute treatment?!
Elsa wasn’t always the zoo’s cuddliest koala. She had to be taken away from her mother soon after birth since she couldn’t make milk and couldn’t feed her tiny baby. Thankfully, the zoo’s kind staff took care of Else and fed her constantly. But it was Hayley Shute, the ‘koala whisperer,’ treated the infant koala like her own.
“My kids name the creatures I look after,” Hayley told Mail Australia. “When I asked my four-year-old daughter what she wanted to call the koala, she said, ‘Elsa.'”
Despite being two, Elsa still acts like a baby, especially when she wants cuddles from Hayley or anyone who stands in her way. But, surrounded by love and generosity, Elsa has some to give.
So it’s not just the zoo staff, but also the animals. And Hope, the wombat, is number one. That was before Elsa’s little sister Anna arrived.
