Animal lovers like me have a great deal of respect for wild animals. Lions are at the top of my list of things I like best. While we should respect and leave them in the wild, I also know that we should not do that. Because of this, I don’t like zoos at all. Once and for all, we should all know that all wild animals should be able to roam freely.
A non-profit group came up with a great idea to satisfy the tourists’ curiosity. They wanted to let the animals be free and not cause them any stress.

GG Conservation is a group of people who want to protect and save as many lions as possible in South Africa. Volunteers came up with a great way to raise money for their cause because their funds aren’t very big, and many people want to meet the jungle king. This is how it works: They’ve made special-designed plexiglass cages that tourists can lock into so they can get up close and personal with the animals.

This is what Suzanne, who runs the foundation, said: “The cage was put up so that we could make money to keep our GG lions healthy and safe.” If we had a professional photography cage, we thought we could get more experienced photographers to come to our place. The lions in the videos are very interested in the cage.

Even though there are more threats too big wild cats than ever, Suzanne admits that the costs of running the sanctuary became a huge problem. Any money that comes in from the sanctuary is welcome.

All cats, big and small, love boxes. They can come close to the box or not. It’s up to them! It’s a completely new way to see lions, from a completely different angle and from a completely different point of view, especially when sitting on the plexiglass above you. The GG conservation director said that.

Even though the tables have been turned, this isn’t even the first place where they have. The Lehe Ledu Wildlife Zoo in China takes a different approach to the typical zoo. It has a lot of other animals. People who want to see the animals are in cages, but the animals are free to go where they want.
