A heartwarming moment when a cat hugs an endangered black rhino.

When it comes to animals from different species meeting up, Mother Nature never fails to amaze us, that’s for sure. That might be too much for even me, though. But that is what happened at this zoo in the Czech Republic.

Mice and rabbits like to get into the cages of the wild animals at the Safari Park Dvr Králové zoo. The cats were brought in to keep them away. The zoo staff didn’t think they would see the cats while having heartwarming encounters with the huge wild animals, but that’s what they did see.

Cats could be used to keep mice, squirrels, and rabbits out of the zoo and as a way to keep the rhinos happy, a zookeeper told Liftable. Jan árek came up with the idea.

It’s normal for cats not to be friendly. You can’t say the same thing about Koka, the black rescued cat who lives with the black rhinos in the park.

This is something you don’t see every day, so the zoo decided to take a picture and put it on Instagram to show people. The heartwarming moment went viral right away, with hundreds of thousands of people watching it on YouTube.
