Boaters see tiny things. He saved his life in the middle of the ocean by pulling him out.

A tiny dog fell overboard from a boat in the Gulf of Mexico, but it was able to swim back to shore. When the puppy, a Jack Russell named Jagermeister, went into the water, he had a life vest on. That helped him stay afloat for almost three hours! But just when he thought it was over, a few boaters saw the exhausted dog and took him in.

The little Jagermeister got a second chance thanks to Bruce Knecht, who first saw him. It was a birthday party for Bruce’s wife, Robin, and a couple of their friends. They went on a boat trip. Boaters were off the coast of Hernando Beach when they saw something in the water. As they got closer, they saw that it was a helpless puppy who was struggling to keep its head above water.

At first, “I thought it was a buoy in the water at first,” Bruce said on Good Morning America. Before: “Then I said, Oh my goodness. Two brown eyes made me think it was a child. I quickly turned the boat around and went to the dog.

A dog was in trouble when some kind people saw him. They ran to help him. The tiny puppy was happier than ever when he saw these strangers coming toward him. Brucie said that when he saw the boat’s bow come around, he started paddling as fast as he could toward them. Bruce leaned over and picked him up.

After they pulled Jagermeister onto the boat, Michael Shawn’s wife, Sahr, called the U.S. Coast Guard for help. After the dog’s owner told them he had been lost at sea, they already looked for him. They were finally able to see each other again later that day. The Jack Terrier’s owner couldn’t believe his eyes and thought the dog was gone for good, but they were able to see each other again.

“It was great,” Bruce’s wife said. “The dog started to lick his owner’s face.” Everyone had tears in their eyes.

Because of these kind people, this reunion wouldn’t have been possible if not for them. Wearing a vest that saves lives has also saved the dog’s, and his owner is to blame for that.

In Sahr’s words, “He wept.” He said, “I gave up. My search has been going on for a very long time, but we couldn’t find him. We just thought he was gone.
