Giant pandas are caught on camera enjoying the first snow.

You might say that adults have a lot of headaches when it snows, but pandas don’t seem to follow this rule. After a big snowstorm in the D.C. area, a camera caught a family of giant pandas at the National Zoo having the time of their lives.

Even though most animals, like dogs and horses, enjoy the snow, none of them do it as well as these cute pandas. Mei Xiang and Tian Tian are having as much fun in the snow as a bunch of kids in a video that has gone viral. In a moment of “pure panda joy,” they roll and slide down the snow. As the two adult pandas have so much fun in the snow, the panda cub Xiao Qi Ji, seeing snow for the first time, would rather look at it than step on it.

Since the 5-month-old cub is safe inside, his mother and father don’t have much time to waste, so they make the most of the long-awaited snow. In a post, the zoo said, “He was very interested in seeing the zookeepers.” “He did go outside for about five minutes, though.”

Pandas are from Northern China, so they are used to snow and are also known for being very playful. So, when a cute panda goes somewhere with snow, there is only one thing that can happen: pure joy. Snow days are also very popular with dogs and horses.
