A woman feeds a blind raccoon, and when it comes back with two “bodyguards,” she films it.

At least, some people say that who you know is just as important as what you know. I don’t know if that’s true, but it seems to be the case with the raccoon in the video below.

The clip’s short description on YouTube says that the raccoon, who is at least 5 years old, has been coming to the same house to look for food for the past few years. The people who own the house have seen the raccoon walk into things many times, which makes them think he is at least partially blind. But that hasn’t stopped him from making friends with two sneaky cats who are his “ferocious” bodyguards and go everywhere with him. The raccoon’s owners decided to post a video of the blind raccoon proudly walking with his group because they were surprised by how well it got along with other animals.\

The most likely reason is that the cats have learned that when the raccoon is around, there is food because the people who live there always leave food out for him. But I guess I like the first story a little bit better. What do you think? Take a peek:
