The horse, “Agripin,” was swimming in the Danube when he saw a puppy that was about to die and needed to be saved. A small blind dog got off a nearby pier and wandered out to sea, where it couldn’t find its way back to land. When the dog got lost, Agripin offered to help her get back to shore.

It wasn’t too deep of water, so Abby got on her horse and rode back to land. Agripin could stand on his own. The little dog’s owner was shocked when Agripin got it out of the water.

The story about the rescue that was told before is great, but it’s not true! This picture and the story that went with it went wild on social media a few years ago.

A dog fan on DogHeirs.com said that neither the horse nor the dog is blind and that they did not save it. The dog’s name is Lucy, and the animal’s name is Brenda Lee. Their father, Brian Sean Reid of Horses Know the Way Home, is their best friend among friends. Jodie Sinclair, a horse photographer, took the picture. These animals are from North America and make great pets.

It was while they were swimming at the beach that Sinclair took some pictures of the beautiful pair. Sinclair thought Lucy was just as strong and sure of herself as the puppy. Lucy is called by her “the most courageous, independent, tireless tiny being I have ever encountered.”

“How many lives could Brenda Lee and Lucy save this summer if they worked together?” asked the Horses Know the Way Home Facebook group. after seeing how popular the movie was with many people. They even plan get-togethers for their friends!
