A Finnish photographer records the beauty of Kotisaari Island as it changes with the seasons.

nature photographer Jani Ylinampa lives in Rovaniemi, which is in Lapland, Finland. He is very good at getting pictures of the Northern Lights, beautiful sunsets, forests, lakes, and other natural wonders because he has been doing it for almost 15 years.

One of those magical things that caught Ylinampa’s eye was the beautiful Kotisaari island in Rovaniemi. It had been the traditional refuge of the Lumberjacks in Kemijoki. It was the perfect place for the photographer to catch the beautiful nature that is always changing while floating down the Kemi river. He used a drone to take pictures of the island from above during four different seasons. The results were four very different but still beautiful pictures of this beautiful land.
