However, this baby zebra was born with polka dots rather than stripes, which is an extremely rare occurrence. This adorable youngster was discovered in Kenya, and it immediately won our hearts.

Pseudo-melanism is a genetic disorder that is responsible for the polka dot appearance in some people. Where the animals’ striped patterns exhibit some kind of abnormality.

Photographers in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve were able to capture some stunning images of a zebra cub just after it was born.

It is interesting to note that this is the very first time that anyone has seen a zebra with polka dots in the Mara Reserve.
