Bear cubs being kids and having fun were caught on camera!

About six years ago, a wildlife photographer in Finland started using his photos to show the natural beauty of his country. This is a story about one of the many amazing things he saw and did because he spent so much time taking pictures of wildlife. Valtteri looked into a place in the woods near Martinselkonen. He saw a group of young cubs playing in a clearing in the woods. Valtteri thought that the people he saw were kids playing on a playground in his neighbourhood because the things he saw were so beautiful. A professor at the Natural Resources Centre takes a picture of a very rare white bear.

Ilpo Kojola, a professor at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, who studies natural resources, said that the bear is very rare. It's Unique. It caught my attention because it came up out of nowhere. Veijo Toivoniemi, who is from Haapajoki and just caught a rare white bear, says the same thing. Toivoniemi took these pictures in Kuhmo Lentiira, which is a bear-watching area just a few kilometres from the Russian border. Scientists find a shark that is 512 years old. It is the world’s oldest vertebrate.

Scientists have just discovered an old shark in the North Atlantic. They knew that this shark had definitely gotten older, but they didn't know how old it was until recently. Greenland sharks tend to live longer than most other animals because they grow very slowly. This is true even though 500 years seems like an incredibly long time. Sharks of this species usually reach adulthood at about 150 years old, but there are stories of…

In a touching moment, a baby seal joins the rescuers. They say, “We have a new team member.”

When you go to save animals, you never know what will happen. This was brought up to Ocean Conservation Namibia in Walvis Bay, Namibia, earlier this year. Antoine and Denzil, two people who help animals, were at Pelican Point when they saw a seal that was caught in the rope. They had to go up to a big group of seals to help the little guy. It wasn't easy to find him because everyone was running away from the two guys, but they did it quickly. Once they had the seal, they could see how hurt he was because his skin had grown over the knots.…
