This coyote puppy was stuck in a cave that collapsed, but construction workers were able to get it out.
“When I was digging through a pile of bedrock to put it through our rock crusher, I disturbed a coyote den. When it was first opened, four coyotes ran away. “I found this little guy when I returned for another rock,” David Bradley writes.
“The den had collapsed around him, trapping him 5 feet below ground.” “Even though I couldn’t have known he was there, I didn’t hurt him, and when I moved the next rock, he was just ‘there,'” Bradley says.
“I asked a coworker to come over and help me dig him out by hand. Beautiful little coyote pup with blue eyes. He didn’t seem afraid of us, and he even looked like he knew we wouldn’t hurt him. The dog ran off to find the rest of his family as soon as he was set free.
A coyote is in the dog family, but even though it looks like a wolf, it is a different species. Coyotes can be found in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. They live in deserts, mountains, and grasslands, among other places.
Most of the time, they live near cities, on farms, or in the suburbs of New York and New Jersey. The number of coyotes in the wild is stable, and they are not an endangered species. Coyotes are also called Prairie Wolves and Bush Wolves.
