This Adorable senior doggie named Gremlin, lost her eyesight completely, due to some difficulties from cataract surgery. Adorable doggie’s world was getting darker and darker, and so was her mental stability. Her caretakers were even upset because there wasn’t anything to do for her, but then her caretakers learned their adorable Gremlin was fitted for contact lenses. The doggie’s reaction when seeing again is purely too wonderful to behold!
Her caretakers Chris and Mariesa Hughes are both pretty good fond of dogs, and they shared their home with adorable pets since they can remember. Chris and Mariesa Hughes even run a rescue service, the Mr. Mo Project, meant to aid senior dogs, especially those with health problems. So naturally, when one doggie got a medical problem with eyesight, they rushed to aid her out.
However, because of Adorable Gremlin’s age, the animal doctor feared for the worst. Sadly, soon after adorable Gremlin went for cataract surgery, things got worse for the poor Gremlin.
Once a very active and extremely joyful doggie was now nothing but a shade of her old version. Gremlin didn’t play with the other dog buddies as she used to, she refused to eat and she even started to ignore her caretakers. She started to feel really unpleasant and depressed. But her faithful human companion was ready to do anything to fix that!
“That was the worst thing. You don’t want to go to love on your beloved dog and have her be so scared,” According to Mariesa Hughes The quality of doggie’s life was painful, and they were really considered her happiness.
Mariesa had been wondering what to do for a while, so She started contacting animal doctors all over the country about glasses to improve Gremlin’s vision in her left eye.
But after another visitation to the animal doctor and some more medical testing, Mariesa was so glad to find out her beloved dog is fitted for human contact lenses. Though highly nervous, she couldn’t wait to see how her beloved doggie would react.
Now, beloved Gremlin’s life has significantly changed. She’s happier and has no issues in finding her food or chasing her caretakers around the house. “Gremlin hasn’t run into anything when had the lens, ” Mariesa said. “Gremlin no longer shies away when the other dog buddies walk. She found her water bowl without marching in it and pouring the water out.”
